I’m Actually Writing a Book Now

"It feels like I'm actually writing a book now, and not just playing at it."

"It felt like I only had two chapters in me, but now I understand how to structure it into a complete book."

"My gawd, how did you DO that?"

These are a few of the things clients say at the end of our Outline Intensive, the one where we draw out what really belongs in the book, and then structure it in a way that creates clarity.

The sessions are simple: I ask questions. The client answers. We collaborate to pull the material into a clear structure that makes sense to the author and fulfills its identified purpose.

With a working outline in place, the author has "buckets" into which they "drop" content. This means they can follow their own pleasure and interest at each session, working on the parts that feel fun in the moment.

And, in the end, all those "buckets" of "content" pull together into a single coherent whole, an actual complete draft of a book.

Magic.

I love my work.
